With just three days to go until the 2025 NFL Draft kicks off in Green Bay, attendees can look forward to getting the full Lambeau Field, Green Bay and Wisconsin experience, with the state's culture, food and traditions set to be celebrated throughout the three-day event.

Each day will feature special nods to the host city and state, culminating in a Day 3 celebration of Wisconsin throughout the NFL Draft Theater and NFL Draft Experience. Gates open to fans at noon on Thursday and Friday and at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Fans are reminded that they can enjoy all the on-stage Draft Theater festivities from the free, general admission viewing area, with the standing room area spanning 250,000 square feet on the stadium's east and northeast sides. The television broadcast will feature crowd shots from the stage that feature historic Lambeau Field in the background and fans can enjoy the action from multiple screens displayed throughout the venue.

Day 1 and Day 2:

To kick off Day 1, on Thursday, April 24, the next generation of NFL stars will walk the NFL Draft Red Carpet inside Lambeau Field starting at 4 p.m. as fans watch from the designated bowl seating area. Information about how fans can view the Red Carpet will be available on NFL OnePass.

The Draft Theater opens at 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and at noon on Saturday, with the Draft selection show beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Following the national anthem, which will be performed onstage by Stephen Wilson Jr., the Wisconsin Army National Guard will conduct a flyover with four Black Hawk helicopters. Packers Legends Mason Crosby, Ahman Green, James Jones and Clay Matthews will join NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on stage to help kick off the night's festivities and welcome fans to Green Bay.

The celebrations continue on Friday, April 25, with 32 NFL Legends and players from the 2000 Draft Class announcing selections to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the class. The evening will also spotlight Legends and players with ties to Wisconsin, celebrating the state's deep football roots. Notable participants include Hall of Famer Lynn Swann, Wisconsin greats Joe Thomas and Jonathan Taylor and fan favorite Dante Hall.

The action will culminate in a spectacular drone show lighting up the Green Bay sky at the end of the third round of selections as part of the Draft Concert Series.

Day 3:

Saturday, April 26, will be an energetic celebration of Wisconsin's rich culture and community, offering a fun-filled day perfect for families.

One highlight of Day 3 will be offered before gates even open, with a Bike Parade for children ages 3-14 starting at 8 a.m. to honor the beloved Packers Training Camp bike tradition. Kids are invited to ride their own bikes up Armed Forces Drive, enter though the east premium entry by 8:30 a.m. and ride a lap around the NFL Draft Experience with special guests from the NFL expected to join in the fun, all before the event opens to the public. Bike riders must exit with their bikes before gates open at 9 a.m., as bike parking is not available on-site. Parents accompanying their kids are reminded of the NFL Clear Bag policy, which will be in effect for the Bike Parade. Day 3 will also feature special Wisconsin elements throughout the day, starting with a mini-Farmer's Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Draft Experience. The market will feature Wisconsin vendors Honeybee Sage Wellness & Apothecary Café, Faris Popcorn, Two Guernsey Girls Creamery, LoCo Wisco, Harmans Bakery, Hinoki Florals, A Goodmans Desserts, The Maple Dude, DIRT and Lynn Summers Oneida jewelry.

Shortly after the Draft picks begin on Day 3, the University of Wisconsin Marching Band will perform, followed by the Oneida Nation Smoke Dancers. In the early afternoon, cheese carver Nancy Baker will demonstrate her nationally renowned skills, local polka band The New Generation will perform and offer a dance lesson and the Wisconsin Humane Society will provide the opportunity for a few lucky fans to "draft" a puppy available for adoption. As the grand finale, global country music superstar and GRAMMY winner Brad Paisley will take the stage at the Draft Theater near Lambeau Field for a free, high-energy concert following the conclusion of Round 7.

As Green Bay prepares to help welcome the future stars of the NFL, inside Lambeau Field, the team's curator is most comfortable talking about the legends of the past.

"We always say Packers history is the greatest story in sports," said Brent Hinsel.

At the team's museum, the Green Bay Packers' history is on display. But to hear some of the best tales, FOX6 News followed Hinsel to an upstairs office where a group patiently waits.

"It’s fun to talk with students who are passionate about football and passionate about the Packers," he said.

Hinsel is leading the online class: "The Packers & the Draft." Students will learn about the NFL Draft's history. The event's early renditions only lasted hours.

"It's completely different. You had smoke-filled ballrooms," explained Hinsel.

The class runs through names that include a Heisman Trophy-winner who passed on a pro football career due to lack of pay.

There are no tests in the class, and no college credits are awarded. The class is also open to anyone, so there is no requirement to enroll at UW-Green Bay. The group is there to feed their passion.

"It’s just so unique when you talk about Packers lore," said Hinsel.

One look around at who is taking the class, and you'll notice it's not your typical assortment of students. It has been decades since most of them stepped foot in a college classroom – and they are from all over the world.

Stephen O'Brien logged on from Wicklow, Ireland. He's among the group of about 75 fans that represent countries as far away as Australia and at least 13 U.S. states. His journey to becoming a Cheesehead began with a friend's recommendation in college.

"He always said to me, ‘Steve, you have to pick a team,’ you know, like, that's how you're going to get invested in this thing," he explained. "I went to whatever website and looked down the names, and I saw the Carolina Panthers and the Panthers, a cat, and you know, that's fine. Chicago Bears suck. I understood that. You know the Lions, is an animal.

"When I looked at the Packers, it obviously isn't clear exactly what a Packer is. I've never heard of that animal before. We don't have Green Bay packer animals in Ireland."

Once O'Brien learned the franchise's story, he was hooked.

"Just the depth of history that it has is unbelievable. Also, there was a load of Irishmen that were involved in the first Packers team," said O'Brien. "Even before that in the late 1800s, when they tried to get people interested in American football, all of them were Paddies on the railway, and some guy went down and said, ‘Lads, do you want to fight and drink and have a good time?’ And they said, 'Yeah, well, we'll get arrested again.' They said, 'No, no, it's called gridiron. It's American football."

Now the head of the team's U.K. fan group, O'Brien will be spending the next three Wednesdays learning from Hinsel.

"It's officially coming from the team. I think it's a brilliant initiative by the college. It's pretty ingenious," said O'Brien. "To put it on for a price that doesn't exclude people is brilliant as well, and the fact that they let a Paddy, an Irishman, come in with his Irish credit card and come in at midnight and start annoying people is pretty great."

As much as O'Brien wants to be in Green Bay for the draft, he said he dared not ask his wife.

"No, in fairness, I didn't even approach the subject with her, because I was kind of thinking at some stage, you know. You can sort of write the divorce papers yourself, so I'll watch from afar," he said.

Few who will be watching will have a better knowledge of how the NFL got here.

The 2025 NFL Draft takes place in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

NFL Draft concerts: Who is performing at the NFL Draft 2025?

The draft goes well beyond just players being picked. It's a three-day festival of sorts with entertainment and concerts throughout the weekend.

Country singer Brad Paisley is the headliner and will close out the draft with a free concert April 26. Paisley has a long history of playing in Green Bay and even bringing Packers players on stage. While the West Virginia native is a noted Cleveland Browns fan, he cheers on the Packers every Sunday.

He told the Green Bay Press-Gazette in 2014 that he never misses a Packers game and wears more green and gold apparel than any team.

There will also be a drone show after Rounds 2 and 3 on April 25 above Lambeau Field that will honor "the history of the draft and legacy of Packers football."

Paisely's concert will take place at the Draft Theater adjacent to Lambeau. Standing room will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

There will also be 10 musical acts at the Draft City Music Fest at downtown's Leicht Memorial Park on April 23 and April 26. The city of Green Bay and On Broadway Inc. are putting on the event.

WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WAOW) - The countdown to the draft continues for teams, players, and even businesses as they wrap up preparations for the big weekend.

That includes one local food truck from Wisconsin Rapids getting the opportunity of a lifetime to serve at the NFL Draft.

"Never thought five years later we'd be heading to the draft," said Purple Basil co-owner, Taylor Okerlunk.

Purple Basil in Wisconsin Rapids started from a small food truck idea, to now five years later getting chosen to work the NFL Draft.

Co-owner Taylor Okerlunk is honored to be a part of the festivities and ready to show what his kitchen can do.

"Very excited. It's just an opportunity. How many times is the draft going to be in Wisconsin especially Green Bay," said Okerlund. "We were just looking for any opportunities to be over there doing anything between catering and the food truck in general."

As soon as they got that call, they were ready to put in the work.

Purple Basil will serve a downsized menu at the draft that includes pasta marinara with the choice of Italian sausage, buttered noodles, Italian mac and cheese, three cheese grilled cheese, and the signature dish they want all to try, the Italian nachos.

The owners know with just days before the draft, they want all hands on deck before they can sit back and appreciate how much they've grown in the past five years.

"We're thinking about making sure we get everything aligned," said Okerlund. "That's the biggest thing. Making sure we're prepared for everything, but once everything is said and done, we'll make sure we get some reflection on it and definitely looking back on it all."

Purple Basil says they've barely left the kitchen since they got the news.

They add that the draft is by far the most food they've ever made for an event.

Where is the 2025 NFL Draft?
